Welcome to Everything Croton, a collection of all things
Croton--our history, our homes, our issues, our businesses, our schools--in
short, EVERYTHING CROTON.
Is this really staying "under" the tax cap? Even the Gazette took note of the following:
The 3/26/15 edition of THE GAZETTE is out: LEAD STORY GAZETTE, VILLAGE TAX INCREASE UNDER TAX CAP, BUT WATER, SEWER, & PARKING LOT RATES JUMP
--Yet another increase in your water rates: 12% (we believe this number is higher but will check further; this is what the paper is reporting)
--A whopping 40% for sewer rates
--Parking lot fees up again: $6 a month for village residents; $15 for non residents.
The Gazette is on sale just about everywhere. Please read the article in its entirety. You may also have an interest in http://on.fb.me/1HQ4X2g
You reap what you sow. Now imagine how much less it would all be if the village wasn't spending your money on things like the Croton Point bike lane so called improvement project.
