Your editor is always pleased to present stories that exemplify what the real Croton is all about: 

Croton-Harmon High School Boys’ Basketball Team is excited to announce, that they have partnered with the Barry Fixler Foundation and Hope for the Warriors to host the first ever “Hoops for Heroes…Celebrating the Military”. 

This year’s event will be held on Friday, January 30, 2015 at Croton-Harmon High School.  The event will feature varsity and junior varsity boys basketball games between the Croton-Harmon Tigers and the Red Devils of Peekskill High School.  The goal of the event is twofold, first we look forward celebrating those who have served or are serving in our military, and second we are attempting to raising donations for the Barry Fixler Foundation and Hope for the Warriors.
