KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS CROWN 2015 FREE THROW CHAMPIONS
The local level of competition for the 2015 Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship was held on January 9th at the James R. Moore Gymnasium at Holy Name of Mary Church. All Croton girls and boys ages 9 to 14 were invited to participate in the annual skill event in which the winners progress through district and state competition. All of the contestants received a certificate for their participation and sharpshooting skills.
The winners in the girls’ groups were 9-year old Emma Windrum, 10-year old Ana Brijeski, 11-year old Adriana Nicolari, 12-year old Kaitlin
Reynolds, 13 year old Caleigh Moore, and 14-year old
Elizabeth Garbarini.
The boys’champions were 9-year old Neven Brijeski, 10-year old Brian Osborne, 11-year old Ryan Windrum, 12-year old Wyatt Robinson, and 13-year old Oliver Wolland.
Each of these winners will compete in a district competition to be held in the next few weeks, with an eye toward moving on to the state and international levels.
