2014 PHOTOS FROM TODAY'S CROTON LIONS CLUB CHRISTMAS TREE SALE--UNLOADING THE TRUCK IN THE WEE HOURS

Welcome to Everything Croton, a collection of all things Croton--our history, our homes, our issues, our businesses, our schools--in short, EVERYTHING CROTON.

And the tradition continues:The Croton Lions Club Christmas Trees arrived today from Pennsylvania--and as always, all sale proceeds go to fund the club's charitable endeavors. They've been doing this a very long time.

Volunteers from the Croton-Harmon High School basketball team and Croton Cheerleading Squad--with an assist from the Troop 28 of the Croton Boy Scouts--well over 50 "kids"--helped the Lions unload, tag and size some really outstanding evergreens--and all in the wee hours of the morning.

  1. Many thanks to everyone. I heard there was even Christmas music! This is the meaning of public service, we've all said it before. Wish our officials understood that idea better. At least these kids know it so maybe there's some hope.
