That is one fantastic television set. True mid century modern.
ReplyDeleteBack in the mid-50's my father got a "big bonus" for bringing in an important account. The old television, tiny and filled with white noise, was replaced with one of these "modern console" types. If I recall correctly, the screen was around 22 inches or so and my mom was in heaven. I also seem to remember some sort of 50's pattern etched into the side of the cabinet.
