There are many
reasons to support your local business community. Here is yet another.
As many of you know, CET first grade classes recently
visited a number of local business as part of their Social Studies/Communities
curriculum. After interviewing the owners about how they help the community and
how they run their shops, each student got a hands-on experience.
Click on the photo to read a thank you note from Ms. Glynn's
class to Susan O'Keefe, owner of Baked by Susan. Students got a lesson in how
much hard work is involved in running a bakery and of course, each one got a
delicious BBS cupcake! To find out more about this fabulous addition to the
Croton business community, visit http://www.bakedbysusan.com
