THANK YOU CROTON LIONS!
A letter to our Croton community,
A very big, heartfelt thank you goes out to our Croton Lions Club for once again sponsoring our son’s Little League team. That team once again won the Croton Little League Majors Division Championship on Saturday, June 20! (See Photo) We would also like to thank Miracle Home Improvement for sponsoring our other son’s team, as well as all of the Croton businesses and clubs that sponsor all of the Croton Little League teams. Without your support, the program wouldn’t be as vibrant as it is and certain players might not have the opportunity to play. Thank you for sponsoring our teams!
We would also like to thank the Board of the Croton Little League for making this year fun and exciting for players and parents alike. Special thanks to all of the Division VPs, the coaches, managers, and official scorekeepers, especially Dan Osborne, Billy Ambose, Max Ambose, Peter Tomasi, Connor Ginman, Glenn Simpson and Kristy and Adam Cohen. Without all of you, we wouldn’t have Little League!
And, while we are at it, a special thank you goes out to the Board of our Croton AYSO, the coaches and referees, especially Joe Otero and Richard Szkodzinski. We watched our child have fun, grow, and develop his skills this year, all thanks to you!
We are so blessed to live in a community of such caring and giving people, businesses and not-for-profit groups. Not only do all of you enable our children to have fun, develop new skills and learn sportsmanship, but you are also fabulous role models, teaching them to one day, give back to community themselves. Thank you for a great year!
