Yesterday was the village's annual Summerfest but we made a quick and early run up to the Attic Treasures Flea Market in Peekskill first. And we weren't disappointed.
Lots of wonderful old magazines to scan and share one of these days and more vintage German "photo" postcards too--we fell in love with this hand-tinted lady holding what appears to be a harp. Click on the photo.
Check out this wonderful and somewhat unusual vintage Dutch "colonial" putz https://www.flickr.com/photos/klcfamilytree/5195750559/
(For those asking about Pineville putz houses, we'll chat soon--we're waiting on some more photos.)
Mark is starting to upload more vintage Christmas lighting catalogs--here's the 1952 Noma Lighting Catalog--LOTS of great stuff in here https://www.flickr.com/photos/markdpodmore/sets/72157653650222229
By sheer coincidence, your editor had just discovered this one at the flea market--but it is incomplete and the pages are all puckered--it had apparently spent some time underwater(!)...so it was great to see it all in such great condition. Thanks Mark!
