WAS CROTON'S LILLIAN NORDICA "THE MASKED SOPRANO"?

A resident came across this fascinating article in the 1912 edition of VARIETY while researching a great grandfather who played the Vaudeville circuit. I knew just where to send it, she wrote in an email and so...was Madame Noridca the Mysterious Headliner described in the article here? Click on the scans and judge for yourself.

  1. Oh wow, this is so cool. Well she was selling weight loss "talcum powder" remember so why not Vaudeville if the money was right.
