Welcome to Everything Croton, a collection of
all things Croton--our history, our homes, our issues, our businesses, our
schools--in short, EVERYTHING CROTON.
Today, Asbury United Methodist Church hosted a special celebration service and light supper to welcome the recently ordained Rev. Melissa Hinnen
in her new role as the full-time pastor. Bishop Alfred Johnson, former
pastor of Church of the Village offered the message. Bishop Johnson,
Rev. Sherrie Dobbs Johnson, and current Church of the Village head
pastor Rev. Jeff Wells led the worship service. It was a packed house with Pastor Anthony Stephens of Our Saviour Evangelical Lutheran Church in Croton also attending.
Here are some photos from the service. Copies will be sent to the parish. For more about Asbury Methodist in the historic Upper Village, visit https://www.facebook.com/AsburyCrotonUMC
