Some photos from today's 2014 Fire Fair, brought to you by your all volunteer Croton Fire Department. Special thanks to all the volunteers and of course to Shoprite which--as always--provided food, give-aways and more--plus some shots of antique and vintage fire-fighting equipment and memorabilia from the "Museum" that had been lovingly constructed in the parking lot too.
And of course all the kids that completed the fire safety "tests"--like how to call 911 and climb down a rope ladder, etc. got to ride in a fire truck complete with sirens!
A real community building event--and what makes Croton the best little village around. Click on the photos, all rights reserved. Copies will be sent to the fire department this week.

ReplyDeleteI think this was one of the most attended ever. There were certainly a lot of white and green shirts for Croton United that's for sure.
