As we prepare to launch three new series here at EverythingCroton, we bid a fond farewell to the 2011 CROTON MEMORIES series, to resume once again in 2012. We really enjoyed doing it, and it would not have been possible without THE CROTON ON HUDSON HISTORICAL SOCIETY or the generosity of Croton's long-standing residents who freely gave of their time--especially Robert Scott, Danny L., Rosemary Trendell et al. Here's an index to all the previous installments. MORE CROTON MEMORIES COMING BACK NEXT YEAR.

My wife and I wanted to thank you from the bottom of our heart for this series at EverythingCroton. While some of it (heh-heh) was before our time, most of it was not. It's been great "visiting" some of the old haunts again. We'd also like to thank Robert Scott again for his very moving remembrance of Mary Lambruschi.
ReplyDeleteA really great series and I'm looking forward to the vintage knitting patterns.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the index. This has really been a most enjoyable section on E.C.
ReplyDeleteJust discovered this. We left Croton long ago (taxes!) and moved to sunny Florida but it's good to see the old place again. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteSincerely,
Mazie Langer
