MORE EVERYTHING CROTON'S FABULOUS VINTAGE WEBSITES, FINDS, ETC.

Some of you have seen this photo a few years back--and it only gets better with each new viewing. The amazing work and detail of Cora Baitler's Christmas displays, circa 1950's. What a privilege to have these--and to be able to share with all our vintage Christmas collecting friends. Click on the photo, then the link:

We’re already thinking about Christmas baking. Family Christmas Online has a recipe page worth looking into especially if like shortbread: http://www.familychristmasonline.com/recipies/recipies.htm

A 50’s piece for sure—and seldom seen in white! http://www.flickr.com/photos/markdpodmore/6221699030/in/photostream

  1. Look at those honeycomb trees on the mantle. I am in heaven. And that's a glolite or noma altar in the center.

  4. What a great scene! Reminds me of my grandparent's place on Christmas!

And yes, as a previous commenter mentioned, that IS a Noma Glolight Altar on the mantle. I have one very similar (only with extended sides)...
