At tonight's village board meeting, several residents were in attendance to ask questions about the Gouveia property which was an agenda item. Mayor Leo Wiegman was absent; Trustee Gallelli in her capacity as Deputy Mayor informed the public that the board would not be answering any questions about Gouveia and that Gouveia's attorney, and the village attorney, were "talking". More details to follow.

Deal.
ReplyDeleteDone.
Until democrats are willing to clean house here, it will only get worse. Deals, Friends, bike lanes, re-zoning for housing, incinerator ash, garbage deals, it's only a matter of time.If democrats are unwilling to see this, arrogance like tonight will continue unabated. Get used to it folks. It doesn't get any better than this for a board that wants to hear your concerns but has already made up its mind. Stick a fork in this one baby. It's done.
ReplyDelete"We want to hear your concerns".
ReplyDeletesure they do
We were just talking about this over the weekend. In our case we just don't care any more. What's the point. They have what they have always wanted. The house goes on the market in a month and we're headed to South Carolina. I'm sorry to leave our home but we didn't come here to be Yonkers or even Ossining and we're getting out while the getting is good. We'll miss our friends and the other relationships we have made these last thirty or so years, but it's time to go.
ReplyDeleteYou know what the really sad part here is. People would vote for them no matter what and even if there were good people brave enough to run. Ignorance is bliss. We're leaving next year and will probably rent the house out.
