Despite strong winds and intermittent rain, HUDSON RIVER DAY 2012 at The Croton Yacht Club proceeded as scheduled. The chowder was great, the exhibits were wonderful, and real community outreach and fellowship were the order of the day.

I had to stop and make special note of the wonderful Chris Letts (hi Chris!) who spent a lot of time with my two nephews who were visiting from Brooklyn. Of course, a special thank you to the Croton Yacht Club, long may she serve the "privileged few".
