Hen Hud’s postseason run came to an end in the Section 1 Class A quarterfinals, as the Sailors fell to No. 3 Pelham, 9-1, on the road. Steinhiser scored Hen Hud’s lone goal off an assist from Povella, setting a new program record for goals by a sophomore with 25 this season. She surpassed the previous mark of 24, set by Liv Johnsen in 2022. Gaspar recorded 20 saves in goal. Reports from public health monitoring groups and retail pharmacy data show a steady, downward trend in people getting their annual flu shots, and that is certainly what is being reported locally.
