Crews of motorized bike-riding thieves — some of them illegal migrant gang-bangers — are terrorizing New York City, viciously snatching thousands of dollars in jewelry from the necks of unsuspecting cops and civilians alike, The Post has learned. There have been more than 20 motorized bike chain-snatchings since September, with at least 10 of them turning violent, according to the NYPD — and police sources say that’s just a drop in the bucket. Leaf pickup throughout the Village begins November 2, 2026. Each area of the map is scheduled for two pickups. This schedule will be repeated, weather and time permitting, as the leaves accumulate and the conditions warrant. ONEIDA AVE CLINTON ST WAYNE ST YOUNG AVE This document is intended to provide an ESTIMATED schedule for leaf pickup. Actual dates depend on factors beyond the Village's control. HASTINGS AVE PENFIELD AVE DEVON AVE WHELAN AVE In an effort to follow the proposed schedule, DPW crews will often "jump ahead" to the next pickup area when time allows. The intention for these visits is solely a time savings effort, and does not affect the proposed schedule. These areas will be re-visited during the normally scheduled pickup.

This is the Brook Street parking improvements project--The Village currently owns a parcel of land on Brook Street near North Riverside Avenue that is informally used by residents in the area for parking. A plan has been developed to clear the area and create a formal paved parking area, approximately tripling the number of off-street parking spaces available for residents in the area.  Work is expected to begin on (HAS BEGUN) this project during fall 2026.
