SUZY GALLAGHER HAS PASSED AWAY - OBITUARY & SERVICE INFORMATION

Suzy A Gallagher, a lifelong resident of Croton-on Hudson, NY, passed away on July 14, 2025, at the age of 66. She was born on October 22, 1958, in New York City, Suzy was the daughter of the late John and Dolores Gallagher.

Suzy graduated from Croton Harmon, class of 1976 where she was a cheerleader and played field hockey. She was also a graduate of the Katherine Gibbs School in New York City.

Suzy had a warm and bubbly personality and was a much-loved server for many years at the family-owned restaurant, Gallagher’s II in Croton. She also worked for over 20 years in the communications department at the New York Power Authority and later Entergy.

Suzy was predeceased by her parents and husband Robert Agosta.

Left to remember her lovingly are her siblings, John Gallagher (Dianne), Kevin Gallagher (Judy), Gail Traditi (Steven), Dee McMahon (Patrick), many nieces, grandnieces, nephews and grandnephews and her lifelong friend who always stood by her side, Cindy Shea. Suzy also leaves behind her much beloved dog, Rookie. He was the light of her life and she treasured being his “dog mom”.

Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, July 17th from 4-8 pm at Edward F. Carter Funeral Home, 41 Grand Street, Croton-on-Hudson, NY 10520. A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Friday, July 18th at 10 am at Holy Name of Mary Church, 114 Grand Street, Croton-on-Hudson, NY 10520. Interment will be private.
