The crown jewel of the Croton parks is the Croton Arboretum. Named in honor of Jayne Lytle, the 20 acre preserve has been maintained
by neighborhood volunteers since being donated to the Village in 1991.
Deputy Mayor Bob Anderson serves as Trustee Liaison to the Village Parks Committee, and is a frequent visitor. “The Arboretum exists because of the dedication of several generations
of current and former Croton residents” he says. “Current chair Karen
Jescavage Bernard continues the tradition of leadership, and the
donations made to the not-for-profit Croton Arboretum and Sanctuary
enable preservation of these wetlands.” READ AND SEE MUCH MORE HERE https://www.facebook.com/crotonunited/posts/845763922247307
