Everything Croton's past series, THE VINTAGE KNITTER, has been sorely missed by village knitters--and crocheters too--and so your editor and the elves have started a new series:
THE CROTON KNITTER & CROCHETER TOO...Each month (HOPEFULLY!), there'll be new books, links, techniques, local meet-ups, fascinating info, vintage items and more...(click on the photo from 1916---Berlin, knitting Christmas gifts, World War One).
First up, a reminder from local knitting artisan Deb Tomasello--If you want to learn to knit or crochet, refresh your skills, or learn new-to-you techniques, Deb can teach you, free of charge. Come join her and the Croton Gab ‘n’ Knit group. They meet at The Black Cow in Croton on Wednesday and Friday mornings, from 9:30 to 11:00, and on Sunday afternoons from 12:30 to 2:00. They are an obligation-free group who meet for the joy of knitting, crocheting, drinking coffee, and gabbing. Come and go at will. Feel free to email Deborah@colorworksbydebi.com for additional information.
Next up, some of our favorite kntiting--and crochetting--blogs:
