CORTLANDT TOWN CLERK DYCKMAN TO RETIRE IN FACE OF SNUB BY DEMOCRATS, SHATZKIN CHOSEN INSTEAD

THE EXAMINER NEWS, RICK PEZZULLO - For the 14th time, Cortlandt Supervisor Linda Puglisi will be at the top of the ticket of the Cortlandt Democrats in November.

  2. Makes sense. There are a lot more patronage positions in Cortlandt than Croton, and a lot more money and procurement contracts. Not to be cynical, but that's the way they are.

Unfortunate, but seems like Cortlandt is in for the nasty bare-knuckles divisiveness that Croton endured.

My guess is that Linda is going to have to make a choice whether to keep civility or keep her job. She's done a decent job, but that isn't going to stop the Croton coup.
