PRESS RELEASE: CET CLASS TRIP TO MEX-TO-GO!

Mrs. Besana, first grade teacher at CET, and her 21 students, had a class trip Thursday, April 23, 2015, visiting our local eatery, Mex-to-Go in Croton on Hudson, NY.

Mayra Viznay Caguano, owner and chef, and her staff gave a mini tour and answered questions from the students. The finale included a hands-on lesson, how to make Tortilla’s from scratch. 

Students made dough, rolled them into balls, then flattened them into a Taco shape. Mex-to-Go provided the students with lunch that included a choice of Tacos, plain or chicken, and Quesadillas, along with side salads and a mango-orange drink. 

The children beamed with excitement and interest after enjoying the food. They were so proud of their new Tortilla preparation skills. Each child was sent back to school with a Mex-to-Go treat bag. The classroom trip was a fun and educational ending – what better way then with food!
