NY RECOGNIZES CHEERLEADING AS A SPORT--& A BLAST FROM CROTON CHEERLEADING PAST

The front page of the Journal News today features an article: REASON TO CHEER. Apparently New York is now the 35th state to recognize cheerleading as an interscholastic sport.  The New York State Public High School Athletic Association hopes to organize a state cheerleading championship within the next two years.  You can read more about it here http://www.lohud.com/story/news/politics/politics-on-the-hudson/2014/04/29/competitive-cheerleading-officially-ny-sport/8464453/
