ST. AUGUSTINE’S EPISCOPAL CHURCH RECEIVES GRANT – 7/30/12 - St. Augustine’s Church in Croton will receive $4,000 from
a historical preservation group. The announcement: “You don’t have to be religious to understand
that religious institutions contain some of our finest art and architecture.
Many also provide vital social service programs and cultural activities that
make significant contributions to their communities. St. Augustine’s Episcopal
Church was pledged a $4,000 Sacred Sites grant towards façade masonry
restoration foundation and drainage upgrades to stop further brick
deterioration and structural movement caused by water damage,” said Peg Breen,
