Moving The Croton Historical Society out of the Municipal Building basement should be included in any plans for a "Community Center" at the Gouveia building. The Historical Society has been lost to Croton- many residents don't even know where it is. The Historical Society has so many physical items of interest that could be a WELCOME Gallery,not to mention all the archival documents and resources. More work space is needed for the volunteer staff and visitors to do research. Why have 9-5 office space (Rec Dept.,Engineering ect.in a landmark building??
