CURRENTLY TRENDING ON SOCIAL MEDIA--WHERE ARE CROTON'S 250 BANNERS AND FLAGS? POT SHOP, BESS AND MORE

We're not on social media but we often get to hear about it---and are sometimes sent screenshots.

Currently trending--what's being billed as "the shameful absence of municipality-placed 250-THEMED FLAGS AND BANNERS in the village". 

One poster, who had been associated with Croton's bicentennial committee in 1976, said that if not for the efforts of private citizens, a few stand-out businesses, and some local historians, one would never know the nation was celebrating such a momentous occasion..."nothing screams 250 REVOLUTIONARY WAR like rainbows and oppression" said one poster wryly.  

There's no point in going on further about this---it's all very easy to find---and most of us have chosen our paths.....there will be barbecues, block parties, fireworks.....many thanks, however, to the residents who ordered and delivered the free 250 lawn signs.......
