5/19/2026------HUDSON VALLEY, NY — A special drug and gang task force in Ulster County is disrupting criminal organizations with a reach far beyond the Hudson Valley, according to the DOJ.
First Assistant U.S. Attorney John A. Sarcone III; HSI New York Acting Special Agent in Charge Michael Alfonso; and Ulster County Sheriff Juan Figueroa, whose office leads the Ulster Regional Gang Enforcement Narcotics Team, announced that 48-year-old Cecilio Wareham, of Queens, was sentenced on May 11, to 63 months in federal prison to be followed by a three-year term of supervised release.
