I am kind of confused and concerned about this. Are we going to be on the hook for a new library?????????
ReplyDeleteThe cost estimate is 7-10 million. They hired a professional fundraising firm. Bond issuance may require legislative and DASNY approval because Croton is an “Association” library. The library minutes indicate a substantial tax increase is on the way. As to who is “on the hook” that would likely be property owners living in the Croton school district, which encompasses all the village and part of Cortlandt Town
