A reader writes: It was really thrilling to see New York's own Cardinal Timothy Dolan play such a notable role in the selection of Pope Leo XIV. I seem to recall that he visited our church periodically (and I see St. Augustine too). Do you or the historical society have anything in the archives?
Response: Cardinal Dolan has visited Holy Name many times. Click on the photos and links that follow. Holy Name would have more complete records; you can contact the office directly at Holy Name of Mary - Croton-on-Hudson, NY
In the interim, here are some scenes from the 2009 Pentecost Sunday. Again click on the photos: Father Mike, the previous pastor of Holy Name is also here, along with the Knights of Columbus full color guard.
And from 2014: Cardinal Dolan visits the God Squad at Holy Name; click here.
And from 2021: Mass at Holy Name video; go to Tom Faranda's Folly: Cardinal Dolan visit to Holy Name of Mary - Saturday's 5PM Mass
