OBITUARY AND SERVICE INFO FOR EDWARD F. KILEY

On November 19, 2021, Ed passed away peacefully surrounded by family at the age of 93. Ed was born Jan. 31, 1928 in Yonkers, NY to Vincent and Helen (McCormack) Kiley. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Patricia (Kilduff). They were married at St. Joseph’s Church in Yonkers, NY on July 19, 1952. He was predeceased by his parents and his brothers Vincent and James, and his infant daughter Maureen. Ed graduated from Commerce High School in Yonkers, NY and Drake Business School in Bronx, NY. He was a veteran of the United States Army Air Corps serving with the 5th Air Force at Kimpo Air Base, Korea. Ed was a retired Fire and Safety Officer with the State of New York. A longtime member of the Knights of Columbus, Ed was a 3rd degree member of the Holy Name of Mary Council #4730 and a 4th degree member of the Father Damin General Assembly #718. Ed is survived by his children Ellen (Erdwin) Chua, Chris, Ed (Patti DeMarco), Mary (Pete) Gilhooly; Seven Grandchildren: Ryan (Maggie) and Katie Chua, Brian (Cassie) and Kevin (Annie) Kiley, Sean (Rahel), Brianne (Patrick Sleasman) and Kara Gilhooly; Eight Great Grandchildren: John and Anna Chua-Halpin, Adam Kiley, Mariana and Finn Gilhooly, Christopher (CJ), Landon and Quinn Rosemary Sleasman. Ed is also survived by his dear sister-in-law Eileen Kennedy and her daughter Colleen, and many other nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation will be on Friday from 4-8pm at Edward F. Carter Funeral Home, 41 Grand Street, Croton-on-Hudson, NY. A funeral Mass will be on Saturday at 10am at Holy Name of Mary Church. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
