MORE FABULOUS VINTAGE WEBSITES, FINDS, ETC. FROM EVERYTHING CROTON

Some more great finds. Click on the photos and links.

We just love the graphics on old Christmas ornament boxes, particularly those by Shiny Brite. The photo to the right comes to us courtesy of takeabreak, all rights reserved.

That's followed by an incredible find from our old movie star magazine collection, a 1952 publicity (and no worries, tasteful) still for a very young Marilyn Monroe! So very beautiful and talented.

And finally from an old hardware catalog, circa 1885, a metal toy savings bank; love the architecture! Suitable for a putz perhaps--or a candy box?

These paper trees are very interesting--AND look easy to make just from looking at the photo. Just enough retro whimsy for a 50's - 60's Christmas display; and a good way to use up scraps--imagine this small enough for a putz village in the line of Howard's TEN CENT CITY; to see the trees, click here

A fun little toy: the Gate Beetle Bailey Jeep; click here

A FABULOUS SHOT of Times Square in New York City, 1903! It's a FB page--hope you can see it--amazing level of detail http://bit.ly/28TED1G

And check out A MICRO LAKKIE from Barb! More here

So well done and worth a second look--Lynn's 2018 Christmas Putz villages--keep scrolling down the page once you CLICK HERE

  1. We picked up a few reproductions from the 70's (banks) that had "action", like an elephant tossing a coin with his trunk into a saddlebag. They're a lot of fun and less maintenance, not to mention less expensive, than the originals. That I want and can't afford!!!!
