REMEMBERING THE LATE HAROLD ZABITZ

Welcome to Everything Croton, a collection of all things Croton--our history, our homes, our issues, our businesses, our schools, our houses of worship--in short, EVERYTHING CROTON.

FROM THE EVERYTHING CROTON MAILBOX: BY SPECIAL REQUEST - A former Croton resident writes from Las Vegas: I recently learned that my son's art teacher, Harold Zabitz, passed away.  We were wondering if you had any further details.

Indeed we do. A wonderful and talented guy....click on the photo from 1970. FYI: A service was held at Temple Israel of Northern Westchester on May 17th of last year.

  1. He was a remarkable and inspiring teacher. Some people are born to teach and he was one of them.
