Welcome
to Everything Croton, a collection of all things Croton--our history, our
homes, our issues, our businesses, our schools--in short, EVERYTHING CROTON.
It's been our privilege to know Croton's own Jim Moore through his tireless involvement in helping his fellow citizens shut down the troubled waste transfer station on Croton Point Avenue.
But there's another side to Jim Moore: his devoted service as a Knight of Columbus, the founding of the Croton Recreation Flag Football program and 300 Club (which has raised much needed funds for Holy Name of Mary), and of course, the very successful CYO basketball program among many other community contributions.
On April 14th, Holy Name of Mary will honor Jim Moore by naming the gymnasium in his honor.
There will be a formal press release soon. Stay tuned.
And from EverythingCroton, a big thumbs up to James K. Moore. You're one of the reasons why life is good in Croton-on-Hudson.
