TOO MUCH CHURCH, THE 2026 EDITION

Looks like this is necessary again.........And now....

The early 2026 edition---The Answer is Still No.....

Yes from time to time, this blog will get a complaint and lengthy comments (let's be polite) about its "extensive" coverage of local houses of worship, as well as "traditional" service organizations, religious holidays, Croton history, Israel, etc.

Apparently in the spirit of fairness and inclusion, there should be equal coverage of any other "faith systems" that exist across the village (and indeed the world), as well as those who practice no religion at all or more "esoteric" beliefs.  As usual, this also includes demands that the blog also must cover social equality issues, gender policy, the work of more (allegedly) "enlightened" local committees, journalists, and political groups YADA YADA YADA.

Oy. And double Oy.

To these complainers, a reminder: You are fortunate to live in a country where there are (still) numerous outlets for such commentary.  You are urged to post such views on those sites instead.  Or in the alternative, to start your own blog.

This blog believes in holidays---St. Patrick's Day, St. Joseph's Day, Passover, Easter and so forth--and it unabashedly says: God bless America.  If this gives you the vapors, just move along.
