TWO BIG EVENTS AT OUR SAVIOUR LUTHERAN---We have two big events 10:00 a.m., September 7....The first is the blessing of quilts and kits. The church pews will be lined with all the quilts and kits created this year as we bless them and send them to Lutheran World Relief for distribution around the world. We want to thank all those who contributed to making everything and who keep us going with this worldwide focus.
The second is the visit by the Metro NY Synod Bishop, who will be our guest preacher. Bishop Katrina Foster was elected in May of this year and will be our Bishop for the next six years. We have not had a Bishop visit since our 90th anniversary and it will be an opportunity to hear her perspective.
