OBITUARY AND SERVICE INFO FOR DENISE SADOWSKY

Denise was born on May 20, 1949, in New York, NY, to the late Anthony and Virginia (Palamar) Sadowsky. She moved to Croton-on-Hudson when she was 7 years old. Denise graduated from Croton-Harmon High School, Class of 1967. She went on to graduate from the Phelps Memorial Hospital School of Nursing and later completed the nursing program at Mercy College School of Nursing, subsequently becoming a registered nurse.

Before her retirement, Denise worked as a dedicated nurse at Phelps Memorial Hospital for many years. She was a beloved sister, aunt, and friend.

Denise is survived by her sister, Doreen Pettit; her nephew, Scott Pettit (Laura); her nieces, Kim Ryder (Billy) and Dana Canneto (Diego); her grandnephew, Billy; grandniece, Lila; and her lifelong friends. She was also an honorary aunt to many of her friends’ children.

She was predeceased by her parents and her brother-in-law, Gary Pettit.
