FROM THE CROTON SHOPRITE FACEBOOK PAGE - We
recently presented a check for $125,000 to Jennifer DeFrancesco,
Executive Director, and Frank Kimler, Chairman, of Hudson Valley Honor
Flight. The funds donated were raised during our 2021 Veterans
Fundraising Campaign. Hudson Valley Honor Flight is a nonprofit
organization that transports military veterans to Washington, D.C. for
trip of a lifetime to their memorials as part of a network of 100
nonprofits across the country. We have been proud to sponsor Honor
Flight missions for over a decade, and are proud to help play a role in
providing a once in a lifetime experience for local veterans whose
service goes as far back as WWII.
