On Tuesday, Christopher Rufo, known for his exposés on schools and corporations under the spell of critical race theory, released internal Disney videos in which those in charge discuss how they insert the “not-at-all-secret gay agenda” into children’s programming.
Those were the words used by Disney Television Animation executive producer Latoya Raveneau, who said she is “adding queerness” wherever she can — with Disney’s blessing, as the company is “going hard” to be supportive.
The shocking footage also featured Disney Parks’ diversity and inclusion manager, Vivian Ware, saying the company has “removed all of the gendered greetings” at its theme parks. No more “Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls.” No longer will a little girl in a gown be greeted with “Hello, princess!” as my daughter had been so many times on our Disney World trips. Disney has been pushed to toe the leftist gender line, and it is doing just that.
The executives made the remarks in a company-wide virtual meeting Monday about Florida’s Parental Rights in Education law, signed that day by Gov. Ron DeSantis. Disney had made headlines for denouncing the relatively staid legislation, which states, “Classroom instruction by school personnel or third parties on sexual orientation or gender identity may not occur in kindergarten through grade 3 or in a manner that is not age appropriate or developmentally appropriate.”

The Washington Post on Wednesday became the second major news outlet to reverse course and admit that emails from the infamous Hunter Biden laptop are authentic — nine months after it obtained them and a year and a half after the New York Post first reported on them.
The paper said two security experts used cryptographic signatures from Google and other technology companies to validate nearly 22,000 emails from 2009 to 2019, including messages related to Hunter Biden’s controversial overseas business dealings.
Some verified emails involved a deal President Biden’s son pursued
with the CEFC China Energy conglomerate for which he was paid nearly $5

I live in the Village of Croton-on-Hudson, New York. Our Village Manager, Brian Healy, recently proposed eliminating the Village Court in Croton. I am strongly opposed to this proposal.
Mr. Healy has submitted two memos to the Board of Trustees outlining his proposal to abolish the Village Court. The stated reason for the elimination of the court is to address revenue losses incurred because of the Covid-19 pandemic, but neither memo states the amount of the anticipated shortfall or provides any reason to assume that the shortfall will continue as the pandemic eases, villagers return to commuting, and again pay for parking at the train station. Even the information that has been provided in the “court revenue/expenses comparison” document shared publicly shows that the expected deficit for FY22 is less than the actual deficit realized in 2016 and a substantial decrease from the outlier year of FY21. Nor does either memo include the fact that the village received federal funds to replace a substantial portion (close to $1M) of the missing revenue. President Biden’s Putin speech in Poland is a catastrophe
He came, he saw, he confused.
Joe Biden’s call-to-arms speech in Poland was long on soaring rhetoric about the virtues of democracy but woefully short on what more the West will do to help Ukraine defeat the Russian invasion. But by the time he got to the finish, most of that was forgotten.
What mattered most and what will be remembered for a long time was a single line the president of the United States said about the president of Russia: “For God’s sake, this man cannot remain in power.”
In the context of the speech and the slaughter of Ukrainian civilians, it’s impossible to understand that line as anything other than a call for regime change, a move that would dramatically raise the stakes with Russia at a time when Biden has been at pains to lower them.
It also raises the question of whether toppling Putin, a subject never before mentioned by the White House, is suddenly the new policy of the United States and NATO.

County Executive George Latimer, a self-proclaimed proponent of
affordable housing, this week gave up one of the county’s strongest
incentives to create affordable units in predominantly white suburban
communities. Six months ago, the Rye Democrat declared he “would
not back down” to Yorktown over making a $10 million sewer grant
contingent upon adoption of zoning changes to promote affordable
housing.

Friday nights during Lent meant fish from Cole's Market or a night out for "fried flounder" at "the diner"----Easter cards, chenille chicks, the latest comic books and chocolate came from Pop Berger's--while
straw baskets, plastic eggs, lace-trimmed ankle socks (to go with those
new Easter shoes) and other assorted odds and ends came from Elliott's and the old Grand Union (DON'T FORGET THOSE TRIPLE S BLUE STAMPS!)
