Welcome to Everything Croton, a collection of all things
Croton--our history, our homes, our issues, our businesses, our schools--in
short, EVERYTHING CROTON.
A recent family illness reminded your editor how much she appreciates having a restaurant like Croton Colonial in town--with a full menu of home-cooked meals available---and one that's open from 6 am to 1 am seven days a week. Knowing that family could get a hot meal--fabulous soups, baklava, stuffed mushrooms and more--even late--was a great help!

Here's a little diner history as well: http://everythingcroton.blogspot.com/2016/03/by-special-request-look-back-at-croton.html
I worked there and met the man I love there.
ReplyDeleteWe don't go there because no handicap ramp is there like other diners have.
ReplyDeleteGreat place, good prices, good food, comforting.
ReplyDeletei love this place. just wish that the pb and dems allowed a handicapped accessible ramp. Like the record shows just about everywhere, they have been against this.
ReplyDeleteThe trendy places come and go in Croton but when you have good food and good value that the average Crotonite can afford, those are the places that will always be around!
ReplyDeleteNot good enough for a handful of the newer people but for Croton generations gone and some still here a true local treasure.
