As many of you know, residents awoke on the morning of 3/9 to the sounds and sight of a police helicopter (NYPD) scanning parts of the village and in particular the large apartment building on Grand Street. A few days later, various new sources reported a coordinated effort between NYPD, Westchester, etal. authorities and arrests for cocaine/heroin trafficking. While not reported in print, the arrest at the Grand Street apartment allegedly involved an individual who did not live there but was instead visiting a "girlfriend".
