Welcome to
EverythingCroton, a collection of all things Croton--our history, our homes,
our issues, our businesses, our schools--in short, EVERYTHING CROTON.
A MESSAGE FROM THE CROTON YACHT CLUB:
The
Croton Yacht Club held its annual children’s holiday party on Saturday,
December 21st where the children were entertained by “Mad Science”
presenting “imaginative learning” and also face painting. After pizza and ice
cream, the children were visited by Santa, who distributed a toy to each child.
Donations from members and guests resulted and five large bags of toys
delivered to the “Croton Caring Committee” and the “Toys for Tots” programs.

thank you for posting
ReplyDeleteI wonder how the patrons would feel when they dined al fresco next to the OPEN AIR grafitti strewn garbage gondolas that have bene lining the waterfront from time to time and as recently as yesterday. LONG LIVE THE YACHT CLUB AND ALL THE GOOD IT DOES FOR THE COMMUNITY.
ReplyDeleteThey can dream about their restaurants like they dream about international food courts in Harmon. Renegotiate the lease. Come up with a fair price in a post Sandy world. (After all our mayor is part of global warming crowd, so we can expect more Sandys there and so the new lease should reflect this.) And let this great community building club stay there, period. Jim
