On June 25th, a wine and cheese farewell reception was held for Father Michael “Mike” Keane at Holy Name of Mary. To say that it was well attended would be an understatement—with fellowship, good food, and more than the occasional tear. It’s safe to say Father Mike will be dearly missed. Thank you very much.
ReplyDeleteThis was one of the nicest and yet the saddest events I have ever attended. Father Mike will be a tough act to follow.
ReplyDeleteI learned that the new pastor is a Father Brennan, and that he possesses a great sense of humor, but know little else.
Good luck Father Mike.
Oh and thank you Maris for always taking such great pictures and making the time to chronicle the events that set us apart from other places.
A night that will not soon be forgotten. Thank you for the lovely photos.
ReplyDeleteThe "committee" who made the evening possible deserve a lot of credit and whoever made the wasabi dip deserves a 4 star Zagat rating.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
