MORE RECENTLY UNEARTHED BITS AND PIECES ABOUT CROTON NOTABLES....

CROTON'S KATHLEEN BELLER, THE OGSDENBURG JOURNAL, SERIOUS ABOUT HER WORK, 1978 and 1980, plus a rarely seen JACKIE GLEASON "funny book" that seldom comes up for auction.

The 1980 blurb for "MOTHER AND DAUGHTER" features Tuesday Weld, Frances Sternhagen and Beller--who comprise the three generations of women in this exploration of a love-hate relationship spanning thirty years. Besides the well-oiled ensemble performances, the film is notable for the "special appearance" by Harry Chapin and several songs he and wife Sandy wrote.
