AN UPDATE ON DJ DANIEL--SWORN IN TODAY BY THE EASTCHESTER POLICE DEPARTMENT

We need not re-hash the saga of DJ Daniel---and those misguided officials who would not stand for this brave young man. Instead, we'll focus on the wonderful Eastchester Police Department:

Today, the Eastchester Police Department had the honor of welcoming Devarjaye “DJ” Daniel, a brave 13-year-old from Texas who is battling terminal cancer. DJ’s dream is to one day become a police officer, and since his diagnosis in 2018, he has made it his mission to be sworn in by as many police departments as possible. We are humbled to be part of his incredible journey. His courage, positivity, and determination inspire us all.

DJ was officially sworn in as an honorary Eastchester Police Officer by Sgt. DiLegge during a brief ceremony. Welcome to the Eastchester Police Department family, Officer Daniel, Shield #55.
