Official press release on attempted knife attack against U.S. Attorney John A. Sarcone III, of Croton-on-Hudson.

A Salvadoran national is charged with the alleged crimes.

By now many or most villagers will have heard about Tuesday’s attempted attack in Albany on the U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of New York, John Sarcone, who has deep roots in Croton-on-Hudson. Sarcone was not hurt but understandably very rattled by the incident.
