A San Diego high school is backpedaling after slapping a student with a suspension for posting pro-ICE flyers — a move critics blasted as a blatant double standard.
The 17-year-old Torrey Pines High junior had put up a handful of posters in late February reading “We 💗 I.C.E. – Real Americans” during lunch. The flyers were quickly torn down, but days later, the student was hit with a one-day suspension for what school officials allegedly called “demonizing and hateful” speech.
