RESUMING AGAIN----#10, THE CROTON PHOTOGRAPHER

Welcome to Everything Croton, a collection of all things Croton--our history, our homes, our issues, our businesses, our schools, our houses of worship--in short, EVERYTHING CROTON.

LIFE IN CROTON KEEPS YOU BUSY...but we've found the time to resume our blog series:  THE CROTON PHOTOGRAPHER....as aways, we'll keep it light and simple (when possible)...featuring old and new technology, local--and not so local---photographers---past, present and future....tips and more........click on the photo(s) and links....here's #10.

First up: We stumbled upon this 1967 book--PENTAX--by Robert Fuhring at a local tag sale. The seller mentioned that Fuhring lived on Finney Farm Rd. and was quite prominent in his field. (You can find three of his PENTAX books here; he revised them many times over the years.) From 1947 to 1950, he was also president and managing director of Scope, a photographers' cooperative producing picture stories for magazines. Stay tuned...there will be more along the way.

  1. I love Anderson's photos. He would have also made a very good mayor.
