Some of these have turned up here on Croton social media sites--posted by the usual suspects---and ALL WERE FALSE. If you see one of these alleged "Pope Leo memes" and it's even slightly "Trump deranged", take the alleged "Papal quote" with more than a grain of salt...don't be fooled. Far too many here been.
A popular meme circulating on Facebook, Instagram and other social media features a photo of Pope Leo from May 8 and the fake quote: “You cannot follow both Christ and the cruelty of kings. This is so important because the left loves to twist what the Pope says to fit their demented agenda. They accept nothing that’s from Catholic teachings and are constantly looking to distort it and destroy it. People need to ignore the leftist lectures on faith. —Jessica
