3/9 WORK SESSION, PART 1: THE KAYAK CONTRACT--The majority of the Village Board (Trustees John Habib, Sherry Horowitz, and Andy Simmons) voted, again, not to offer John Clark, the proprietor of Hudson River Recreation, a contract renewal to operate at the Echo Launch, at the request of area homeowners. It is presumed that HRR may be back. For the moment, however, the Croton River estuary will get some respite this season, in terms of less traffic.  Stay tuned for more on this and other items from the work session.
