For those who've asked: THE 2017 CROTON ROTARY CLUB COLLECTIBLE CAR SHOW (AND CHILI COOK-OFF) is scheduled for September 24th. As always, it will be held in the parking lot at the Croton-Harmon train station--there will be more details later on.
This popular annual event is an important fundraiser for the organization's many charitable endeavors, drawing classic and collectible cars--not to mention visitors--from throughout the region to our village.
It's also an opportunity to learn about--and see--some stunning examples of vintage and antique cars--automobilia too--all in one spot.
So keep calm and carry on...it will be here soon enough...In the meantime, enjoy these photos from the 2011 event featuring a stunning 1954 Thunderbird, former Croton Rotary member and Town Councilwoman Ann Lindau, then Trustee--now Mayor--Greg Schmidt, still President of the Croton Rotary, and a collection of thoughtfully restored automobiles http://bit.ly/2tNudFC
